Ayurvedic wellness brand Kapiva has appointed Arsh Rachit as its new chief human resources officer. In this role, he will spearhead the company’s people strategy, talent development, organisational culture, and leadership initiatives as Kapiva enters its next phase of expansion.
Prior to this, he worked at PhonePe from November 2022 to July 2026 where he served as head – HR CoE & International, overseeing compensation & benefits, employer branding, HR product, HR operations, HR systems and talent management. Prior to that, from March 2019 to October 2022, he was head – HRBP, partnering with the online, offline and ads businesses to align people strategy with growth.
Before PhonePe, Arsh Rachit was the head of human resources at Gap Inc. Technologies from September 2017 to March 2019. He was instrumental in setting up Gap’s GCC in India and scaled the team from 20 to 500 employees, while building frameworks for talent acquisition, management and rewards.
His earlier stints include HR leader at GE Appliances from February 2016 to September 2017 in Hyderabad, where he managed the HR transition during the sale of the business to Haier. He was the senior talent acquisition manager at Standard Chartered Bank from September 2014 to January 2016, leading hiring for North & East India and niche leadership roles across Asia.
Rachit also worked as HR business partner at PepsiCo from September 2011 to September 2014, driving change management and organisation design across beverages and foods. He started his career as a process manager – HR at Hero Honda Motors from June 2009 to August 2010 and as HR manager at GSK Consumer Healthcare India from August 2010 to September 2011.
With this appointment, Kapiva aims to strengthen its leadership bench and build a future-ready workforce to support its growth in the wellness sector.
