After over nine years of association with Flipkart, Kaifee S has been elevated to vice president-human resources. He will continue to work out of Bengaluru.

Armed with a PGDPM from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Kaifee S joined Vedanta Resources as associate manager, in May of 2009. He spent three and a half years there before moving to Airtel in 2012.

His first role at Airtel was that of manager-HR, based out of Lucknow. Almost two years into this role, he was promoted to senior manager in September 2014.

This role saw him heading talent management and development, Delhi circle, for over a year and a half.

Another promotion in 2016 made him deputy general manager, heading HR for Bihar and Jharkhand circle, based out of Patna.

It was in September of 2017 that Kaifee took up the role of associate director-HR at Flipkart, working out of Kolkata.

Over two and a half years later, he was elevated to director-HR and then senior director-HR over four and a half years into this role.

Kaifee’s latest elevation to vice president HR at the e-commerce and digital commerce company signals the company’s continued focus on strengthening its people leadership bench. His steady rise through multiple HR roles across telecom and e commerce reflects both depth of experience and adaptability to diverse business contexts. For Flipkart, this move consolidates institutional knowledge within its HR function, ensuring continuity in talent strategy at a time when digital retail faces intense competition and workforce challenges.
