OpenAI is all set to make it easier for candidates with artificial intelligence (AI) skills to connect with employers who need their services. Its new platform that is set to launch by mid-2026 will serve as a link between AI talent and suitable jobs.

OpenAI is developing a new AI-powered jobs platform to connect individuals with AI skills to companies and organisations that need them.

The platform, set to launch by the middle of next year, that is, 2026, will offer jobs in various AI-related domains, including automation and prompt engineering. It will reportedly match skilled candidates with the requisite qualifications with the right organisations.

This AI-first jobs ecosystem will combine training, certification and matching.

Through this platform, candidates with AI skills can hope to land high-paying jobs. Additionally, businesses and organisations can easily access AI talent to meet their requirements.

OpenAI is reportedly planning to expand its OpenAI Academy, which is a free online-learning platform, to offer certifications across levels, from basic skills to advanced prompt engineering.

candidates need to do is study for their certifications using the ‘Study’ mode in ChatGPT. The learning is interactive and candidates can ask questions and get their doubts clarified. It is possible for companies to enrich their own internal learning and development (L&D) programmes by integrating these certifications.

Partnerships with Walmart, Indeed, Accenture, John Deere, BCG, and so on are also reportedly on the cards.
