AAA Technologies, the information-security firm, is reposition as a “Cyber Security Through AI”. The Mumbai-based company is gearing for an expansion of its workforce from 100 to 1,000, following a recent change in the company’s ownership and management.
Santosh Kumar Pandey, whole-time director, AAA Technologies, said, “We are 100 professionals today, and we intend to be 1,000.”
As the first information security company listed on NSE and BSE, it has completed more than 12,700 assignments over 25+ years and will extend its business from cyber security audit to remediation and continuous monitoring. The new services are AI-driven cyber security audit; forensic audit, including deepfake analysis; compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act; and an annual AI-led cyber assurance programme combining continuous monitoring with periodic human review.
AAA currently employs more than 100 internationally-certified professionals and delivers all engagements in-house. It is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 20000-1:2018, and is CMMI Level 3 appraised. It has been CERT-In empanelled since 2005 and was empanelled in 2026 by NICSI, through 2029, and by the State Bank of India as an Information System Audit Organisation, through March 2029.
Given the rising costs and tighter regulation, reports say that the the average cost of a breach in India goes up to Rs 25.5 crore, which is over 15 per cent more than a year earlier.
It is also reported that a significant number of malicious breaches in India are AI-generated, while an alarming number of Indian organisations barely use AI and security automation.
Soon, full compliance will become necessary with penalties of up to Rs 250 crore for failing to maintain reasonable security safeguards.
Clearly, there are busy times ahead for the company!
