InsuranceDekho, the Indian insurtech company owned by Girnar Insurance Brokers, recently onboarded over 30 senior leaders across key functions, and is gearing to expand its workforce by 1000+ professionals in the coming months.

To further strengthen its leadership team, the company has gone for an internal promotion and two external hires.

InsuranceDekho has elevated Aman Batra to the position of chief strategy officer. With over 12 years of expertise in business strategy, corporate development, and data analytics, Batra has been associated with InsuranceDekho for more than four years now, contributing significantly to its growth.

The company has appointed Navneet Bhatt as chief business officer for new business (MGA, reinsurance and actuarial analytics). Bhatt comes with over two decades of experience in actuarial analytics, underwriting and business strategy. He has previously held senior roles at Takaful Oman Insurance, Tata AIG, and Royal Sundaram Alliance. InsuranceDekho will tap into Bhatt’s understanding of insurance and proven ability to integrate analytics with diverse business models to foray into newer segments.

Vivek Aggarwal has been appointed VP, head of finance. He also comes with over two decades of experience across leading companies such as HCL, Genpact, Airtel, and Info Edge. InsuranceDekho is tapping into Aggarwal’s extensive expertise across the IT/ITES and Internet sectors. His ability to streamline business processes, enhance compliance, and build strong investor relations will surely surely make a lasting impact on key functions such as business finance, controllership, taxation and FP & A.

Divya Mohan, CHRO, InsuranceDekho highlights how Bhatt, Aggarwal and Batra “bring unique strengths that align with our ambitions” and how she believes that “their collective expertise will drive significant impact as we continue to expand our business.”

Ankit Agrawal, founder and CEO of InsuranceDekho, believes in “bringing the best talent from across the industry” and “nurturing leaders like Batra who have made an exemplary contribution in their journey with us and continue to be the force behind our vision to revolutionise the insurtech space.”
