AI-driven hiring platform Third Bracket has raised close to INR 50 million in seed funding, marking a significant milestone in its mission to reimagine recruitment. The funding round, backed by a consortium of high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), will support the company’s ambitious plan to overhaul traditional hiring practices with intelligent, bias-free, and scalable solutions.

Founded in 2023 by Chhandan Chakraborty and Nihar Bose, Third Bracket aims to address long-standing inefficiencies in recruitment by embedding AI at the heart of the process. The newly-acquired capital will be directed toward enhancing product capabilities, strengthening the platform’s AI engine, and expanding operations to meet increasing demand from enterprises across sectors.

Speaking about the company’s vision, Chhandan Chakraborty, co-founder, Third Bracket, noted, “Our goal was never to slightly improve hiring—it was to fundamentally rebuild it. Despite talent being the most valuable asset, the recruitment process remains outdated, error-prone, and often biased.” This funding gives the company a new runway to deepen its technological edge and accelerate the adoption of a faster, smarter, and more inclusive hiring experience.

In less than a year, Third Bracket has made notable inroads into high-growth domains such as FinTech and IT, collaborating with fast-scaling start-ups and mid-sized firms. The platform has gained attention for its precision-focused approach—leveraging AI not just to match candidates with job roles, but to holistically evaluate skills, potential, and organisational fit.

With the backing of this latest funding round, Third Bracket is set to scale its operations and continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in recruitment technology. The company envisions a future where hiring is not just faster and fairer, but also a strategic advantage for businesses seeking to stay ahead in a competitive talent market.
