FCB Group India has roped in Aarti Nagpal for the role of chief talent officer. Nagpal moves from Publicis Groupe, where her last-held designation was senior vice president and head of talent.
An alumna of the University of Mumbai and the Welingkar Institute of Management, Nagpal began her human resource journey with Zee Entertainment as HR executive, in August 2007. A year and a half later, she moved to Synergy Adlabs, as assistant manager-human resources. Three years into this role, she moved again in 2013, to join Raymond as deputy manager-HR.
Her next stop was Welspun Group, in January of 2016. There, she served as senior manager-human resources for almost two and a half years, before switching to Big Bazar.
As deputy general manager, Big Bazaar, she headed the Mumbai HR operations for Future Retail, with a staff strength of over 5,000, from May 2018 to November 2019.
Her association with Publicis Groupe began in 2019, as associate vice president and head HR, Digitas India. By 2021, she was elevated to vice president and head-human resources, Leo Burnett & BBH. For the next two years, she handled talent acquisition, manpower mapping and preparation of future leaders, among other responsibilities. In July of 2023, she was promoted yet again, making her the senior vice president and head of talent.
Known to be a sincere, diligent and proactive professional, Aarti Nagpal will surely be an asset to FCB Grooup India, a fully-integrated marketing network, serving Indian and multinational clients. HRKatha wishes her all the best in her new assignment.
