    Abhik Sinha takes up CHRO role at Arka Fincap

    Sinha moves from Equitas Small Finance Bank where he was SVP & head-business HR (assets) talent acquisition (CoE) & HR transformation

    Abhik Sinha has been appointed chief human resources officer (CHRO), Arka Fincap. He was earlier SVP & head-business HR (assets) talent acquisition (CoE) & HR transformation, Equitas Small Finance Bank.

    An alumnus of IBS, Hyderabad from where he completed an MBA in human resources, Sinha holds a BE in Computers from Nagpur University.

    He began his career with Indian Bank, as manager-HR, in 2006. He then moved to HDFC Bank as regional HR service manager. For the next three years he worked out of Chennai and Bengaluru spearheading employee engagement, talent acquisition, and HR interventions to align workforce strategies with business goals.

    From December 2010 to March 2015, he worked as assistant vice president-talent management, employee engagement and new initiatives, Tata Motor Finance. Initially hired as zonal HR head to establish the South HR team, he was elevated within two years to lead talent management, employee engagement, performance management, compensation, and leadership hiring.

    Abhik Sinha’s next stop was Srei where he was vice president and head-talent acquisition, talent management, rewards and HR operations, from 2015 to 2019, working out of Kolkata.

    April of 2019 saw him taking up the role of senior vice president and head-business HR (asset finance), at Equitas Small Finance Bank, Chennai. Over five years later, he was elevated to SVP & head-business HR (assets) talent acquisition (CoE) & HR transformation.

    Now, in his new role as CHRO at Arka Fincap, he will be heading the human resources function for this Kirloskar Group Company. HRKatha wishes Abhik Sinha all the best!
