Sudeep Anurag has moved from Deloitte to IndiGo as director-HR analytics and transformation, taking his experience in people analytics and workforce transformation from consulting into an operating organisation.
Based in Gurugram, Anurag will focus on strengthening HR analytics and transformation at the airline. His remit covers the use of data, analytics and technology across workforce planning and organisational decision-making.
Anurag spent four years at Deloitte, most recently as associate director. His work there covered human-capital transformation, AI and GenAI in HR, people analytics, workforce planning and HR data strategy. He also worked with organisations on skills-based models, job architecture and changes to HR operating structures.
Before Deloitte, Anurag was part of Bain & Company’s global people analytics team. There, he worked across employee engagement, workforce analytics, diversity and inclusion metrics, attrition analysis and workforce reporting.
His grounding in HR analytics goes back further. At Aon Hewitt, where he spent more than three years as a senior consulting analyst, his work ranged from employee engagement and leadership development to assessments, HR dashboards and advanced analytics.
Anurag began his career at Cognizant Technology Solutions, spending more than five years in analytics roles before moving deeper into the people side of data.
The progression is significant. His career has moved from analytics at a technology company to HR consulting at Aon Hewitt, global people analytics at Bain and, more recently, AI-led human-capital transformation at Deloitte. The IndiGo role now puts him on the other side of that equation, responsible for applying those capabilities within a large operating workforce.
For IndiGo, which has been expanding rapidly in both scale and organisational complexity, the appointment adds specialist capability at a time when workforce data, skills and technology are becoming more closely intertwined with HR decision-making.
