    Dixon Technologies ropes in Samar Srivastava as VP-HRD & admin

    Srivastava moves from Havells India where he was VP-HR since September 2021

    After almost four years as vice president-human resources at Havells India, Samar Srivastava has moved to Dixon Technologies, as vice president (HRD & administration).

    With a PhD in human resources management from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and a post doctoral in leadership study from Middlesex University, Samar Srivastava began his professional journey in 1986.

    He joined Tata Steel as personnel officer in June of 1986 and after four promotions during a period of 11 years, he rose to the position of manager-management development, Tata Steel. During this tenure he was selected for faculty member at the Tata Management Development Centre too.

    In September 1997, Samar Srivastava moved from Jamshedpur to Mumabi, joining Tata Ryerson as head-HRD & industrial relations. For the next six years he led the human resource function and handled all its work streams, including HRD, personnel, industrial relations, security, administration and community development on an All India basis.

    From September 2003 to October 2010, he was associated with Crompton Greaves, as general manager-human resources.

    October of 2010 saw him taking up the role of vice president-human resources, at Jet Airways. In less than four years, he was elevated to senior vice president-human resources. After serving Jet Airways for almost six years, he moved to Huhtamaki PPL, as chief people officer. This stint lasted over five years.

    Havells India roped Samar Srivastava in for the role of vice president-human resources, in September of 2021.
