Legrand India, an electrical and digital building infrastructure, has appointed Nisha Samuel as its new vice president-human resources. In this role, she will spearhead the company’s HR strategy, focusing on building a high-performing and value-driven organisational culture.
Known for her people-centric approach, Samuel is committed to driving business growth through talent development and fostering a high-performance work culture. Her expertise and strategic mindset position her as a strong asset to Legrand India.
Prior to this, Samuel was working with Clariant as its head-HR for India. She joined the company in the year 2020 as its head country-HR, India. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing the entire spectrum of HR operations for Clariant India. Her key contributions included implementing comprehensive HR strategies, policies, procedures and systems, ensuring seamless alignment with Clariant’s global HR strategic objectives.
Samuel has worked across several industries such as services, consumer durables, and specialty chemicals. She has excelled in managing key HR functions, including talent acquisition, total rewards, HR business partnering, and operational excellence for both corporate and manufacturing sectors.
Bringing over 26 years of professional experience, Samuel has also worked with many companies such as CHRYSO India, Dow Performance Silicones, Eastman Kodak Company, and Shoppers Stop.
