Shekhar Sinha has taken up the role of senior director-human resources at Jubilant Ingrevia, a global specialty chemicals company catering to pharmaceutical, nutrition, agrochemical, consumer and industrial customers.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) ,Lucknow, Shekhar Sinha began his professional journey in 2006, as senior human resources executive, with Samsung India Electronics.
Less than two years later, he joined Nestle as assistant manager-HR, in 2008, working out of Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, for well over two years.
Sinha’s next stop was Britannia Industries, in April of 2011 where he joined as location HR head for a year and four months.
Godfrey Phillips India roped him in to play location head-HR for over three years, from 2012 to 2015. He then moved to Amazon in a similar capacity in November of 2015.
His association with Cipla began in March, 2017 when he took up the role of site HR head, based out of Sikkim.
From August 2019 to June 2020, he served Uber as lead IR-India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka, working out of Gurugram.
The year 2020 saw him join Ecom Express as head of compliance, IR and large location’s HRBP.
Shekhar Sinha was back at Cipla as site HR head in August of 2021, based out of Indore. Over three years into this role, he was elevated to lead ER and compliance and relocated to Mumbai.
Sinha’s thorough professionalism, work ethics and strong ownership will be an asset to Jubilant Ingrevia.
