Jagran New Media has roped in Manoj Mishra for the role of chief human resources officer (CHRO). Before taking up this position, Mishra had spent the last two years as an independent HR consultant guiding startups to set up HR processes and helping them grow.
For over a decade Mishra worked as human resources manager across sectors such as FMCG, HRC and retail, serving various big brands including Tata Retail, Future Group and Landmark Group.
In September 2011, he joined Walmart as regional head-people, working out of Bengaluru for almost four years. From 2015 to 2019, he was associated with Flipkart as director-HR.
He moved to Licious in October of 2019, taking on the role of vice president and HR head but soon switched to BetterPlace as vice president & group head HR.
Manoj Mishra holds a BSc in Biology from Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) and has also completed a PGDBM in human resources from LLAM.
This business-centric HR leader is known for his commendable commitment level in developing his own team, and is lauded as a team player. His energy and dynamism are sure to be an asset to Jagran New Media, the digital wing of Jagran Prakashan, the Indian media conglomerate.
