Mohit Marwaha has moved on from Prudential where he was chief human resources officer (CHRO), to become investor and director across FMCG brands, organic farming ventures, and HR Tech.

An alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Marwaha was associated with Aviva Life Insurance for over four and a half years, from 2008 to 2012, as senior specialist, talent acquisition, North Aviva Life Insurance.
He then served IndusInd Bank as deputy vice president-HR. After a five-year stint with the bank, he moved to Apollo Munich Health Insurance, in 2018.

Marwaha’s next stop was NIIT, in April of 2020, where he played vice president-head, talent acquisition for a while before taking up the role of AVP-head talent acquisition at Niva Bupa, in November of 2020. A year into this role, he was elevated to DVP-head HRBP and talent acquisition, in 2021.

Another promotion in June of 2022 made him vice president-head, HRBP, talent acquisition and HR operations.

It was in July of 2025 that he had switched to Prudential as CHRO.

Now that Mohit Marwaha has begun a new chapter in his professional journey, we will see him investing in FMCG businesses and farm-to-market organic models. He has also founded an HR tech company that will be dedicated to solving organisational challenges, primarily early attrition and low productivity.
His experience will serve him in good stead as he ventures into consumer brands, sustainable agriculture, and HR technology innovation.

HRKatha wishes Mohit Marwaha all the best for his future endeavours!
