Signpost India, a digital out-of-home media tech company, recently appointed Swati Sinha as head of human resources. She comes with two decades of experience and has worked with companies such as Sterlite Power, Accenture, Tektronix India, Gensol and Satyam in her career.

Sinha began her tryst with the HR function as HR business partner with Mahindra Satyam, in 2005. Two years later, she moved to Germany to handle the global mobility programme for Accenture Germany. A year later, she was in Pune, India, as senior HR business partner, Accenture Services. From 2007 to 2011, she successfully partnered with and supported the business to manage all HR processes, including performance management, compensation reviews, analysis of the results of employee engagement surveys, management of employee relations activities and so on.

By May 2012, Swati Sinha was elevated to employee relations and policies specialist, Accenture Services, working out of Mumbai and Bengaluru. For over three years, she looked into policy revisions, content development and formation of new company policies as per organisational requirements.

July of 2015 saw Swati Sinha take up the role of HR lead/site HR/business HR at Tektronix Engineering Development.

Four years later, she moved to Sterlite Power, as head-HR, Sterlite Power Convergence business. A year into this role, she was elevated to vice president and head-talent, OD, employee engagement and D&I.

Since May 2024, she has been with the Gensol Group as senior consultant-human resources.

Now, in her current assignment at Signpost—a company that offers immersive, AI-powered media solutions at key consumer touchpoints (malls, entertainment zones, workplaces, etc.)—Sinha will head the HR function with key focus on HR initiatives that align talent with organisational goals, foster inclusive culture and fuel performance.

Shripad Ashtekar, MD, Signpost India is confident, “Her data-driven approach, combined with deep functional expertise, makes her well-poised to contribute to Signpost’s ongoing growth journey and help elevate its employer brand and culture.”

Sinha herself is looking forward to “building a progressive and people-centric space that thrives on innovation, agility and purpose.” HRKatha wishes Swati Sinha all the best in this endeavour!
