Zepto, the Indian quick commerce company, has roped in Sneha Arora for the role of chief human resources officer (CHRO). She moves from Simpl, the Indian one-tap checkout network where she was serving in a similar capacity since 2022.
An alumna of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Sneha Arora has completed a master’s degree in business economics, human resource management, strategy and competitive advantage, economics and management of business from the University of Amsterdam.
In the initial years of her career, she was associated with Texas Instruments as management trainee and was later absorbed as talent development manager, TI India. Three and a half years into this role, she was elevated to HR manager, in February of 2011.
It was in August of 2014 that she joined Flipkart, as HR manager, based out of Bangalore.
Sneha Arora’s next stop was SAP where she joined as senior HRBP consultant, in May of 2016. Just over two and a half years into this role she was promoted to director-HR. After a successful stint that lasted three years and eight months, she moved on from SAP to join Myntra.
She played vice president-human resources, Myntra from 2020 to 2022, before joining Simpl in September of 2022.
Her latest assignment at Zepto, a rapid commerce platform, will see Sneha Arora focusing on creating a workplace where people feel a deep sense of belonging, sense their growth being supported, and are empowered to do meaningful work.
