Publicis Global Delivery (PGD) has roped in Sugandha Sharma to play senior vice president-human resources. Earlier Sharma was with Cognizant, as general manager-employee experience practice.
An alumna of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Sugandha Sharma began her career as a management trainee (business partner HR) with Perot Systems in May 2007. Her first full-time job was with Patni Computers where she spent over three and a half years, as assistant manager-HR. She worked as business partner HR for the largest business unit in Pune, ensuring smooth functioning of all HR processes within the unit. She was also the single point of HR contact for approximately 800 employees at the location.
In March of 2011, Sugandha Sharma moved to Mastek, as lead-OD and location HR. Three years and five months into this role, she moved again to Wipro.
At Wipro, she joined as deputy manager HR, lead HR business partner, India, in 2014. Over two years into this role, she was elevated to manager HR-organisation capability and development. This role required her to relocate from Mumbai to Pune. By 2017, she had been promoted to India lead HR business partner. From 2021 to 2022, she served as senior manager and HR lead-cloud infrastructure services, Americas Region, Wipro.
August of 2022 saw Sugandha Sharma joining Digital Management (DMI) as HR head-India, Argentina, Spain, UK.
It was in November 2023 that she came to be associated with Cognizant as general manager-employee experience practice.
