Her decade-long association with Johnson & Johnson began in August 2007, as HR business partner, pharmaceuticals. Four years into this role, she was elevated to HRBP, medical devices, in September of 2011.
Another promotion four years later put her in the position of HR head-medical devices and diabetes care, APAC, in 2015.

For the next two years, she was responsible for a workforce of 1500+ employees with a sales revenue of over $600 mn.

October of 2017 saw Tanvi Choksi moving on to JLL India, where she took up the role of CHRO, India & JLL Business Services, global. She successfully led a team of over 90 HR professionals across India, Sri Lanka, China, Manila and Poland. In 2022, she became chief human resources officer, JLL. This role saw her leading the people strategy for JLL Asia Pacific, which employs 43,000 people with a specific focus on markets and capital markets business lines.
Her role at Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India in January of 2025 allowed her to step into the hospitality sector for a while.
