Vineeth Suresh will lead the India GCC for Heineken NV, the Netherlands-based brewing conglomerate. Suresh moves from KPMG India, where he was a partner, leading the GCC sector in consumer markets and retail.

An alumnus of Bangalore University, Vineeth Suresh has completed an MBA in accounting and finance from Missouri State University.

He worked as team lead, IPA Advisory and Intermediary Services, Illinois, USA from 2001 to 2002. He then joined R Squared Systems, as corporate financial controller for two years.

He came to India in 2004 and took up the role of manager-project and expenses, LogicaCMG.

May of 2005 saw Vineeth Suresh begin a long association with Tesco Bengaluru. He spent the first three years as manager-operations. He was then elevated to leader/head-commercial finance, in 2008. A little less than three years into this role, he was promoted to head-PMO HSC/CEE.

By August of 2013, he had risen to the position of director-business services/international finance. For the next over two years, as director for Central European & Turkey (CEE) finance and accounting operations, he provided operational support, analytics, and overall financial management for the front end retail operations. From 2015 to 2018, he was director-business services/transformation.

He was associated with Diageo as managing director/DBSI-Diageo/ board director/global operations director from 2018 to 2021.

Suresh’s next stop was the Landmark Group, where he played president-operations for almost a year and a half before joining KPMG India.

According to Ákos Magyari, director, Heineken Business Services, Suresh’s appointment showcases the company’s strong commitment to use India as a strategic delivery and transformation hub. Heineken Business Services India is an addition to Heineken’s existing global network of connected hubs that will provide essential services and capabilities to operating companies within Heineken.
