Gandhi had been named head-HR, Madura Fashion and Lifestyle, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, in June of 2019. At the time, he had already been working with the Aditya Birla Group for six years, but this was his first stint in the retail sector. Gandhi had begun his professional journey with Nicholas Piramal India, as product manager, in 2001. Over two years later, he moved to Max Life Insurance as head-partnership distribution training. Seven years later, he joined Bharti AXA Life Insurance, as head-distribution training, in August 2010.

His next stop, two years later, was Max Life Insurance, where he was head-change management till November of 2013.

His association with Adity Birla Capital began in December 2013. He served as head-learning and development for five and a half years, before switching to Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, in 2019.

Known to be a sharp, knowledgeable, insightful, and humble professional, Gurucharan Singh Gandhi holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and an MBA in marketing.

An avid writer who loves writing blogs, Gandhi has also authored a book titled ‘Kabeer in Korporate’. HRKatha wishes him all the best for his assignment at Vodafone Idea.
