OnePlus launches new India office, will focus on employee wellbeing initiatives

OnePlus India, the global technology brand, has opened a new office at UB City, Bengaluru, spread over 18,000 sq. ft.

With full focus on employee well-being, the new office space offers a wellness room and recreational spaces for employees to relax, unwind and destress. The in-house design team has included vibrant installations, trendy illustrations and calming landscapes, to foster creativity.

Prioritising employee wellbeing, OnePlus has also implemented new, positive policies such as the OnePlus Revive and Pitstop.

The OnePlus Revive policy offers employees the flexibility to work remotely for a period of two weeks, every six months. The Pitstop initiative offers a healthy work-life balance by allowing them to avail rest leaves every quarter.

Navnit Nakra, India CEO and head of India region, OnePlus India, reiterated how the new “office space is designed to effectively support our newly introduced hybrid work model, allowing employees to seamlessly collaborate across teams and benefit from a thriving work environment.

Nakra is “positive that these initiatives will promote an environment of holistic growth and wellbeing among our OnePlus employees.”

OnePlus, which has a workforce strength of over 700 in India right now, witnessed a significant increase of nearly 50 per cent in headcount in the first half of this year.

Functioning around the ‘Never Settle’ mantra, OnePlus creates exquisitely designed devices with premium build quality and high-performance hardware.
