Pocket FM has appointed Sunanda Sahoo as vice president-human resources, further bolstering its leadership team amid a phase of rapid growth in the audio entertainment sector. Sahoo shared news of her new role on LinkedIn, expressing her enthusiasm and excitement about joining the company.

Before joining Pocket FM, she was heading human resources for the innerwear and athleisure business at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail. She joined the company in 2021 as head-HR for Sabyasachi.

Sahoo brings nearly 15 years of HR experience across diverse industries, including stints with leading organisations such as Aon, Bharti AXA Life Insurance, and Tata Motors.

A postgraduate in Business Management with a specialisation in Human Resources from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), Sahoo has expertise in building people strategies, talent development, and organisational transformation.

Her appointment comes as Pocket FM continues to expand its platform, scale operations, and attract a wider audience base in the competitive audio streaming market. By bringing in an HR leader with experience in large, people-centric organisations, the company aims to strengthen its talent practices and employee- engagement strategies.
