JSW Steel has roped in Anand Prakash as head-human resources operations. Prakash moves from Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services where his association as head-HR lasted over 13 years.

Prakash, who holds an MBM in HR from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, began his professional journey as an industrial trainee for a year, at Shriram Pistons & Rings. From 2003 to 2006 he was member-corporate HR, at Minda Huf.

He joined Valvoline Cummins— an automotive service innovations firm—as manager-HR in December, 2006. For the next four years and nine months, he successfully looked after talent acquisition and development, performance management, compensation bench marking, employee engagement survey and action plan.

Anand Prakash’s next stop was PI Industries—the Indian agrisciences and fine chemicals company—where he served as business HR for a short year-long stint. It was in September 2011 that he joined Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, the concept-to-consumer quality assurance and compliance services provider. There, for more than 13 years, he steered change management, employee engagement, HR policies, HRIS, leadership development , succession planning and talent management.

An experienced human resources professional with a demonstrated history of working in the consumer goods industry, Anand Prakash’s expertise in negotiation, strategic sourcing, labour relations, management, and management information systems (MIS) will surely stand him in good stead in his new assignment at JSW Steel. HRKatha wishes him all the best!
