Bosch’s Girish Lobo joins Altigreen as head-HR

Lobo carries more than a decade of experience in HR and IR

Altigreen, an electric vehicle technology and solutions company for last-mile transportation, has announced the appointment of Girish Lobo as its head of HR.

In this new role, Lobo will be responsible for implementing innovative human capital ideas, driving efficiency through agile HR policies and designing an overall talent development strategy that can cater to the strategic business needs of the company.

Lobo’s appointment comes at a time when the Company has a countrywide plan to expand and nurture new talent which can cater to the rising demand of the business at Altigreen.

Prior to joining Altigreen, Lobo was the head-HR at Bosch Automotive Electronic India where he spent 13 long years. At Bosch Automotive Electronic India, Lobo was responsible for initiating, driving and managing HR and IR strategies to enable the company to become a market leader in the automotive electronics business in India.

Bosch Automotive Electronic India is an independent subsidiary of the Bosch Group of companies in India dealing in manufacturing of automotive electronics products and catering to global and local original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Lobo has spent a great amount of time handling ER and IR in the automotive industry. During the early part of his career, he honed his HR skills with Kirloskar Ferrous Industries and Toyota Boshoku India both of whom operate in the automotive sector in India. For a short while, Lobo joined Essilor India as deputy manager, corporate HR. Essilor owns the Crizal lenses brand and Lobo handled corporate HR for four sales regions and four manufacturing units in India for the company.

A commerce graduate, Lobo also holds a master’s degree in HR and IR.
