Captain Fresh, a global tech-driven seafood supply chain, has appointed Rupali Gupta as its new group-chief human resources officer (CHRO). In this new role, Gupta will oversee people & culture across Captain Fresh’s international offices in India, the US, Europe (Spain, France and Poland), and the UAE.
She will focus on aligning talent-management efforts, driving scalability, and building a cohesive, high-performance organisation across diverse cultures. This strategic move strengthens the company’s leadership team as it accelerates global growth and prepares for its IPO in 2025.
Prior to this, Gupta was associated with Korn Ferry as its senior client partner, Asia Pacific Life Sciences Consulting Leader. She joined the company in June 2023.
With over two decades of experience in HR and consulting, Gupta has worked with many other companies such as Mercer, Mundipharma, Standard Chartered Bank, and Accenture. Her expertise lies in culture transformation, leadership development, and organisational design.

An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Gupta holds a BSc in Mathematics from St. Xavier’s College.
