Datta Power Infra, an Indian infrastructure and renewable energy company, has appointed Kirti Raj Manucha as its new head-human resources. The appointment, effective April 2025, signals a strong intent by the company to align its growing operations with a robust, future-ready people strategy.

With nearly three decades of experience spanning diverse industries, Manucha steps into the role with a mandate to lead the company’s human capital transformation. Her responsibilities will cover a broad spectrum of HR functions, including workforce planning, leadership development, talent strategy, and driving digital transformation across HR processes. The focus is on building agile teams, promoting a performance-driven culture, and strengthening the company’s capacity to scale effectively.

Before joining Datta Infra, Manucha served as CHRO at Brinks India and held senior HR positions across leading organisations including Greenko Group, FedEx, adidas, Religare Enterprises and HCL.

Her career spans multiple sectors such as renewable energy, retail, e-commerce, IT/ITES, and logistics. Known for leading large-scale cultural transformations and enhancing employer branding, she has managed complex HR operations for companies with workforces exceeding 6,000 employees, including a significant base of contractual staff.

Varchasvi Gagal, CEO, Datta Infra, emphasised the importance of this appointment as the company deepens its footprint in the renewable energy sector. “Kirti’s deep experience across high-growth environments and her ability to drive cultural and workforce transformation will be crucial in helping us build a resilient and innovative workforce.”

Manucha also expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity, stating that she was excited to join Datta Infra during a phase of strong momentum. “I look forward to shaping a people strategy that not only drives performance and innovation but also fosters inclusion and sustainable growth,” she said.
An alumna of Birla Institute of Management Technology Manucha has consistently driven HR innovation, reinforcing her commitment to people-first leadership.

Her appointment underscores Datta Infra’s vision to scale with purpose, placing strategic emphasis on leadership, innovation, and people development as cornerstones of its long-term growth strategy.
