Emversity, the Indian skill-development platform, has elevated Megha Lal to chief human resources officer (CHRO).
Megha Lal has been associated with Emversity since July of 2024.  An alumna of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Lal interned with 9X Media, Mondelez International, L’Oreal, Heinz  India and Piramal Healthcare  before joining ACC as manager-HR, in July, 2012.
During the three years that she spent at ACC, she coordinated with businesses and performed a systematic assessment of talent requirement. As the ‘PMS In-charge’ at corporate level, Lal liaised with businesses for finalising KPIs and targets for all departments for annual appraisal. She also launched a structured ‘Summer Internship Programme’ for attracting talent from targeted premier B-Schools, covering schools across the country including IIMs, TISS, and NITIE.
She joined IndusInd Bank  as assistant vice president-HR, in July of 2015. The next four years were spent gaining extensive experience in corporate hiring, HR analytics and performance management.
June of 2021 saw her taking up the role of director, HR, Unacademy.
It was in July of 2024 that her association with Emversity began as vice president, human resources. The platform works with higher-education institutions on one side, and employers on the other side, to bridge the industry-academia gap.
Given her holistic experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, PMS, HR strategy, process improvement, change management and organisation design, Megha Lal is sure to continue to be an asset to Emversity.
All the best Megha in your elevated role!
