After a successful tenure of over six years with Publicis Groupe, Rashmi Sharma has moved to ITC Infotech to take on the role of general manager-HR transformation.
A graduate in Chemistry, Sharma has completed an MBA in human resource management and information technology from ICFAI University, Dehradun.
She began her professional sojourn as a management intern with Asian Paints, in 2005. She then joined Indiabulls Securities as relationship manager for a short while before taking up the role of senior executive, HR and development, at Ugam Solutions.
September of 2008 saw Rashmi Sharma joining Accenture as human resources representative. For a year she successfully managed resource planning, staffing, recruitment, performance management and professional development. She also handled employee relations and employee transition processes for 800-1000 employees. By 2009 she was elevated to performance management operations. Six months into this role, she was promoted to HR service architecture and management. Almost two years later came another promotion that saw her handling global inclusion and diversity.
In April 2014, she moved from Accenture after a tenure of over five and a half years, to join WNS Global Services, as group manager, human resources.
From 2015 to 2018, she served as manager-talent acquisition and management development, at Thyssenkrupp Elevator. By March of 2018 she was elevated to senior manager-talent acquisition, management development and regional HR business partner.
It was in April of 2019 that she joined Publicis Groupe, as associate vice president and head of human resources-Indigo Consulting. Almost two years into this role, she was promoted to associate vice president-talent products and strategic people and culture projects. By July 20223 she had climbed to the position of vice president-talent and transformation.
Now, as GM-HR transformation at ITC Infotech, she feels “fortunate to have this opportunity to lead a massive transformation programme globally for an organisation that not only has a rich legacy but is ferociously ambitious in its growth journey.”
