After a successful tenure of over four years with Flipkart, Richa Verma Agrawal has accepted the role of chief human resources officer (CHRO) at Assetz Property Group.
An alumna of Delhi University’s Jesus & Mary College, Agrawal went on to obtain an MCA from IGNOU. She served Dundee Bancorp India as systems and technology officer for over two years before taking up the role of technical support associate at Wipro Spectramind. A year later, she moved to Convergys as a team manager and was soon promoted to operations manager. Over two and a half years later she switched to Hewitt Associates as service manager.
February of 2008 saw her joining JPMorgan Chase as assistant vice president. For the next over five years she was the Bangalore functional lead for the Americas Payroll Group comprising payroll operations, accounting, tax, payroll MIS and strategic data integrity.
Agrawal’s next stop was ANZ where she played vice president from December 2013 to April 2016.
Deutsche Bank appointed her regional head for HR enablement functions (VP) in 2016. In this role, she was responsible for onboarding, background screening (BGS), invoice processing, ID boarding services (IDBS) and training & development (TD) enablement delivery across APAC as well as global delivery in the US, Germany, and the UK.
From August 2019 to June 2022 she was associated with Honeywell, first as human resource director, then as HR director and head of APAC and EMEA payroll. When she moved on in 2022, she had become HR director (payroll), Honeywell.
Then began her association with Flipkart as senior director and head of people experience, handling everything from hire to retire, employee lifecycle HR operations, payroll, ethics and compliance) and HR process excellence.
Now, in her latest assignment at Assetz Property Group, a design-led real estate development firm, she will help foster a high-performance, people-first culture and head the overall human resource function. Her responsibilities will include among other things people strategy, talent management, organisational development, as well as culture transformation.
