Kamaljeet Kaur will now be the chief human resources officer (CHRO) at RR Kabel.
She comes with over 20 years of experience in HR, having begun her career as an assistant manager with Hero MotoCorp, in 2003.
Three years later, she was appointed regional L&D specialist (EMEAI), Wrigley. This stint saw her working out of Himachal Pradesh for over two years, handling middle- and senior-level recruitments.
August of 2008 saw her taking up the role of regional service manager-human resources, at HDFC Bank. She worked out of Chandigarh for over four years.
From 2012 to 2013 she served as assistant general manager, Heidelberg Cement.
Jubilant FoodWorks roped her in for the role of assistant vice president-human resources in July of 2013. She was based out of Delhi/NCR for a little less than four years.
Her association with Sterlite Power began in April of 2017 when she joined as leader-human resource business partner. Seven months into this role came her first promotion that made her head HR-global infrastructure. The next promotion came over three and a half years later, making her chief human resources officer. By June of 2022 she had reached the position of director and group chief human resources officer.
Kamaljeet Kaur played chief people officer-Gensol Group from July of 2023 to April 2025. She then took a break focussing on her own well-being and pursuing some independent consulting assignments.
Now, as CHRO at RR Kabel, the wire and cable-manufacturing company, she will contribute her expertise in heading and driving strategic HR and organisational transformation and developing leadership capacities and capabilities.
