Sachin Bordavekar will now head human resources (services) at L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering, based out of Vadodara, Gujarat. Earlier, he was heading human resources at L&T Electrolysers, working out of Surat, Gujarat.
An alumnus of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Sachin Bordavekar’s association with the Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Group goes back to 1997, when he joined as human resources trainee. Within two years he was promoted to human resources executive. July of 2005 saw Bordavekar being appointed human resources manager, L&T-Sargent & Lundy. Six years later, he moved to L&T Power, as head of learning and development. Three and a half years into this role, he was elevated to head of talent acquisition.
After a decade with L&T Power, Sachin Bordavekar took on the role of head HR at L&T Howden. This position required him to work out of Faridabad.
He was back in Gujarat in 2021, as unit HR head, Larsen & Toubro Defence. His next appointment within the Group was as HR head, L&T Electrolysers.
In his latest role as head-human resources services, L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering, Bordavekar will be responsible for HR interface and employee experience for office-based employees of Services Organisation across five locations.
Bordavekar’s areas of expertise include performance management, employee relations, personnel management and talent acquisition.
Given that he is an HR leader with a demonstrated history of working in the power, hydrocarbon, defence and green energy sectors, he will continue to be an asset to the Group.
