    Vistara’s Deepa Chadha joins Tata 1mg as CHRO

    Deepa Chadha, former SVP-HR & corporate affairs, Vistara, has joined Tata 1mg as its new chief human resources officer. Chadha was associated with Vistara for over eight years, from 2017-2024.

    With a career spanning over two decades, Chadha has worked with many renowned brands such as Jabong, Airtel, Genpact, Oracle and Ranbaxy.

    Chadha started her career with Ranbaxy in the year 1995. She joined the company as its personnel executive and stayed in this role for over three years. Her next stop was Oracle where she joined as a principal consultant-eBusiness, in the year 1998.

    In the year 2005, Chadha joined Genpact as its VP-global HR shared services. After over three years, in 2005, she moved to Airtel, joining as the company’s VP-head shared services HR. In this role, Chadha led the shared services for

    India and South Asia. In 2012, she was elevated to global head-HR-shared services for India, South Asia and Africa regions.

    In the year 2013, Chadha led the company as its head-HR Airtel Business. In this role, she led Airtel Business, the B2B division of Bharti Airtel, which operates as an independent profit and loss (P&L) entity. In Nov 2014, Chadha was elevated to the role of VP head-HR and global COE. This role saw her leading the company’s HR business partnering and employee services along with the entire gamut of its HR operations.

    In 2016, Chadha joined Jabong as its SVP-HR (CHRO). An alumnus of TISS, Chadha has a degree in BA in Psychology.
