VAP Group, a global Web3 and AI consulting firm, has appointed Sukhpreet Swaran Sandhu as its new global-head human resources. In this new role, Sandhu will work towards expanding VAP’s global footprint and creating a strong talent philosophy to make it an employer of choice and a magnet for top talent.

With over 17 years of rich professional experiences, Sandhu has worked across sectors such as SaaS, fintech, automobile retail, and e-commerce.

Before joining VAP Group, Sandhu was the HR leader at ITILITE, a US-based SaaS and fintech platform, in the year 2021. His primary responsibilities were to oversee the full spectrum of people success and human resources functions. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in doubling the company’s presence across the APAC and US regions.

Previously, in the year 2019, Sandhu was the inaugural HR head at Spinny, where he successfully scaled the organisation to unicorn status, driving over 20x growth across India.

Sandhu’s extensive career also includes key leadership roles at Denave, IndiaMart Group, and Myntra-Jabong, where he gained deep-rooted and diverse global experience. His expertise lies in building agile organisational cultures, developing rewards and talent-management strategies, and leading leadership-development initiatives from the ground up.

Speaking on his appointment, Sandhu shared his excitement on taking up the new role. “VAP operates in niche, cutting-edge sectors such as blockchain, Web3, and AI, which are crucial to building a robust digital transaction culture. I look forward to expanding VAP’s global footprint and creating a strong talent philosophy that will make VAP an employer of choice and a magnet for top talent,” he added.

Vishal Parmar, founder and CEO, VAP Group, also expressed his enthusiasm at Sandhu’s appointment, stating, “As our business continues to expand rapidly, having Sukhpreet on board will be instrumental in enhancing our people agenda. Under his leadership, we are confident that we will continue to move in a positive direction towards global success.”

An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Sandhu is a political science graduate from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University.
