HSBC India has unveiled the 11th edition of its India Business Case Programme for the academic year 2024-2025. The programme has expanded its scope to reach approximately 10,000 undergraduate students nationwide.

Tailored specifically for undergraduates, this programme aims to enhance career readiness and skill development beyond traditional academic subjects. Last year, the programme engaged around 3,100 students, but the new edition significantly broadens its impact.

The India Business Case Programme offers a comprehensive learning experience designed to merge academic knowledge with practical business skills. Participants will benefit from e-learning modules, virtual and in-person workshops, mentorship opportunities, and interactions with senior executives. The programme focuses on key areas such as critical thinking, leadership and practical application of business concepts.

The programme is open to undergraduate students in their penultimate or final year, across all academic streams including Science, Commerce and Arts. Students can register either through their college or independently, forming teams of four from the same institution. The programme begins in August 2024 with online case studies and culminates in a national round in March 2025. The top two teams will earn the opportunity to participate in the Asia Pacific programme in Hong Kong in 2025. Registration details can be found online.

This year’s initiative will extend its reach to include colleges from tier 2 and tier 3 cities, aiming to discover and nurture talent from a wider range of regions. The programme, a collaboration between HSBC India and United Way of Mumbai, continues to foster the development of future leaders across India.
