BoomerangHR, an AI-powered platform focused on offboarding and alumni management, has announced that it closed a $12.7 million seed round on September 14, 2026.
The company stated that the round was led by Kalos Ventures and Album Ventures, with participation from Monta Vista Capital, Capital Eleven and Strada Education Foundation.
Jeff Wald, founder and CEO, stated that a company’s relationship with great talent shouldn’t end when they leave, and that they built BoomerangHR to automate offboarding and transform former team members into an active growth network where the best next hire is someone who already knows the culture, customers and mission.
Marissa Andrada, former CHRO, Chipotle, believes that when employers show love for their employees on the way out, employees will love them back, and that BoomerangHR’s technology enables companies to turn that goodwill into an engaged alumni community that keeps creating value.
Chelsea Kaden, chief people officer, Warby Parker, noted that with teams spanning retail, eye care, customer experience and corporate offices, BoomerangHR gives them a thoughtful, streamlined way to stay connected whether a former employee returns, refers to someone great, or simply remains connected.
Ashley Bittner, managing partner, Kalos Ventures stated that BoomerangHR has all the components for category success, citing the founding team, AI-native solution and proven deployment.
