K Raheja Corp to foster cross-generational learning with ‘Reverse Mentoring’ programme

K Raheja Corp has introduced a new learning and leadership initiative called “Reverse Mentoring,” aimed at creating stronger collaboration between senior leaders and younger employees across the organisation. The programme has been designed to bring fresh perspectives into leadership conversations while enabling greater interaction across generations within the workplace.

The initiative seeks to create a two-way learning model where knowledge sharing moves beyond traditional top-down mentoring structures. Under the programme, senior leaders participate as mentees while mid- and junior-level employees take on mentoring roles. The approach is intended to expose leadership teams to emerging workplace trends, evolving employee expectations, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, communication shifts and changing customer behaviours.

The programme has been rolled out across multiple businesses within the group, including Mindspace REIT, Chalet Hotels, Inorbit Malls and K Raheja Corp Homes. Participants are matched based on common learning interests and focus areas, allowing conversations to remain aligned with individual goals and business priorities.

Each mentor-mentee pair participates in four to six one-on-one sessions spread across three to four months. The discussions are designed to be flexible and informal, focusing on both practical and strategic topics connected to the future of work. The initiative has already completed its first cohort and will continue as an ongoing long-term learning programme.

The company believes the initiative can help build a workplace culture centred on openness, collaboration and continuous learning while creating opportunities for employees to contribute ideas directly to leadership discussions.

Commenting on the programme, Urvi Aradhya, G-CHRO, K Raheja Corp, said, “Through Reverse Mentoring, we are creating a space where leaders can learn directly from the perspectives of younger employees. It helps us bring outside-in thinking, new-age learning, and honest feedback into leadership conversations. This initiative reflects our focus on building a more connected, collaborative, and future-ready organisation where every voice has value.”

The programme becomes part of the company’s wider leadership and talent- development ecosystem focused on employee growth and future-ready capabilities.
