Logitech, a company that designs innovative products that connect people to digital experiences, has appointed Manoj Sahay as its new country head for India
Sahay comes with over two decades of experience having begun as area sales manager, Britannia Industries, in 1997. After four years of setting up new logistics and distribution structures for cold chain and dairy, based out of Chennai, Sahay moved to Reckitt Benckiser in August of 2001.
He joined Reckitt Benckiser as zonal sales manager, in August of 2001. Nearly two and a half years into this role, he was elevated to brand manager. By the time he moved on from Reckitt Benckiser in January of 2010, after a stint that lasted over eight years, he had become marketing manager.
His next stop was Castrol India where he played general manager, marketing, car segment for over two years.
In February 2012 he joined Walmart-Bharti Retail as head of marketing operations, retail. From August 2012 to November 2014 he was with Hindustan Times as head of marketing. Then followed a stint with Sanofi as general manager-consumer health care, South Asia.
He was associated with Dr Lal PathLabs as chief marketing officer from 2016 to 2019. He spent a short while freelancing as a marketing specialist and playing COO at a healthcare startup before joining GSK Consumer Healthcare India as expert lead-sales India.
August of 2021 saw him taking on the role of expert lead-sales and marketing, India, Haleon. About three years and eight months later, he moved to Torrent Pharmaceuticals, as VP-consumer healthcare.
Now, in his new role at Logitech, a multinational that designs software-enabled hardware solutions, Manoj Sahay will be responsible for leading Logitech’s business operations and executing a tailored market strategy in India.
His profound understanding of the Indian consumer landscape, coupled with a strong track record in brand building, distribution, and business growth, will be pivotal in driving Logitech’s next phase of growth.
