    LTIMindtree appoints Venu Lambu as CEO (designate)

    This will be Lambu’s second stint with the tech consulting and digital solutions firm; he was earlier president and executive director from 2020 to 2023

    The Board of LTIMindtree, a global technology consulting and digital solutions company, has approved the appointment of Venu Lambu as the CEO (designate) and whole-time director, with immediate effect. This will be Lambu’s second stint with the company.

    Lambu will be based out of London and will work closely with Debashis Chatterjee, CEO & MD, LTIMindtree over the coming months, to ensure a smooth and seamless transition and gain a deeper understanding of the current operations, annual budget and strategic plans.

    Backed by over three decades of experience in driving strategies and hyper growth in the technology and services industry

    Venu Lambu was associated with LTIMindtree as president and executive director from 2020 to 2023 before he moved to Randstad Digital as CEO. For three years he successfully led the global markets transformation and capabilities of Mindtree and delivered industry leading profitable growth before moving on to Randstad.

    Before that, Lambu served Cognizant as global head-Cognizant infrastructure, cloud and technology business for over six years, based out of London. From 2013 to 2019, he was responsible for strategy, growth and business transformation.

    Holding a bachelor’s degree in engineering and electronics from University of Mysore, Venu Lambu has also completed a course in general management from London Business School.

    He is an industry thought leader advocating the value propositions of application, cloud services, infrastructure and edge computing.

    In the past, Lambu has held leadership positions at HCL Technologies and IBM too.

    SN Subrahmanyan, chairman, LTIMindtree acknowledges Lambu’s “amazing solution-providing capabilities” and admits that he is “a bright leader” and “a phenomenal networker”.

    Subrahmanyan is also confident that Lambu’s “home coming to L&T will take LTIMindtree into its next chapter of growth and this will further strengthen our position as a leading global IT services provider.”
