    MakeMyTrip elevates Richa Jha to director-HR

    Jha has been with the online travel company for over three years now

    After three years of association with MakeMyTrip, Richa Jha has been elevated to the position of director-human resources. Jha had joined the online travel company as associate director-human resources, in May, 2022.

    An Economics graduate from Patna Women’s College, Jha completed a PGDM in human resource management and industrial relations from International School of Business and Media.

    Jha began her professional journey as a summer trainee with Astrazeneca, in 2008. She joined Wepsol as assistant manager-HR in 2009. For the next two years, she successfully handled the profile of business HR with 115 sales employees across 14 locations in India.

    Jha’s next stop was Biocon where she played senior executive, HR for a while before taking up the role of deputy manager-HR, at Reliance Retail. Three and a half years later, she moved to Aurigene Discovery Technologies, as location HR head. This role saw her working out of Bengaluru for over two and a half years.

    September of 2018 was witness to Jha joining Walmart as manager-talent architecture. By November 2019, she moved on to take up the role of human resource lead-India, Lexin. After a stint of two years and five months, she began her association with MakeMyTrip, in March 2022.

    Known to be a smart, talented, enthusiastic and dedicated professional, her versatility in handling diverse HR responsibilities will continue to be an asset to MakeMyTrip.
