    Nitu Bhushan is Nestle India’s new head-HR, w.e.f March 2026

    After a four-year long association with Pernod Ricard, Nitu Bhushan will now be taking on the role of head-human resources, Nestle India, starting 2 March, 2026.

    An engineering graduate (in Electronics and Telecom),Nitu Bhushan is an alumna of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune from where she completed a master’s degree in Personnel Management.

    Bhushan served as senior analyst-recruitment, at Accenture, from 2003 to 2004. She then moved to Asian Paints for a three and a half year long tenure, starting off as manager-corporate HR, in 2005. Two and a half years into this role, she was elevated to manager-HR (International Business Unit).

    Nitu Bhushan’s next stop was HSBC where she took up the role of vice president-strategic resourcing, in July of 2008. By September of 2010 she was promoted to resourcing transformation workstream lead, Asia Pacific LTROD. She was project lead for the process and structure workstream of the resourcing re-vamp programme across Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia.

    Another promotion in December 2011 made her vice president-HR projects. By May of 2012 she had been elevated to senior vice president-HR relationship.

    Mondelez International roped her in for the role of head-talent acquisition, India, in July 2013. From 2015 to 2016, she held the position of head-talent acquisition, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan and ANZ.

    After almost three years with Mondelez, Nitu Bhushan moved on to Abbott. She joined as director-HR, Abbott India, in 2016. Less than three years later, she was elevated to regional HR director-established pharmaceuticals division, India.

    September of 2021 saw her taking up the role of chief human resources officer, South Asia, at Pernod Ricard.
