Ecom Express has appointed Swati Mor as chief human resources officer (CHRO), effective 2 September, 2024. She moves from Bharti Airtel where she served a long tenure of 11 years, with her last designation being that of senior vice president and head of human resources-Airtel Digital, Product and Engineering.
An alumna of SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Swati Mor worked with Britannia Industries, as manager-HR from 2008 to 2010.
She was associated with HT Media as senior manager, organisation development from June of 2010 to March of 2012.
Mor joined Bharti Airtel in 2012, as senior manager-talent management. A little less than two years into this role, she was elevated to chief of staff-CHRO and head-campus. A little over two years later came another promotion. This time, she was elevated to head-HR and sales and head-HR, Delhi Circle. Two and a half years later, she was again promoted and was appointed vice president and head HR-networks. In this role, she successfully managed over 5000 on-roll and more than 15000 off-roll organisations spread over 18 telecom circles. She led key strategic programmes such as capability building around 5G and setting up of a niche research centre in Bangalore. She was actively involved in the redesigning of the organisation to accomplish the ‘ one airtel’ technology for sharper business focus and more accountability.
Since February 2022, she had been serving as senior vice president and head-human resources, Airtel Digital, Product and Engineering.
She managed to successfully establish a high-performance culture at Airtel.
Now, in her new assignment at Ecom Express, the Indian pure-play B2C e-commerce logistics solutions company, Mor is looking forward “to furthering the vibrant, customer-centric, ownership-driven work culture at Ecom Express.
