    Anand Rathi Group has appointed Tulanahinaa Maity as CHRO, investment services and institutional equity.

    Backed by over two decades of experience, Maity was earlier independent director and board member, Instassure Insurance Solutions.

    Tulanahinaa Maity began her professional journey with Standard Chartered Bank, as resourcing manager-HR and lead CSR, in 2003. For the next seven years she was responsible for managing multiple HR functions, including talent development and employee engagement at the bank

    In 2010, she joined Religare as zonal head-HR, East and lead, rewards and recognition.

    Then came a seven-year association with IndusInd Bank, where she joined as zonal HR partner, North India, in July of 2011. A little less than four years into this role, she was elevated to national HR partner-corporate international business, retail liabilities and presiding officer ICC. For another three years, she successfully implemented comprehensive HR initiatives that improved overall team performance and enhanced leadership-development processes before moving to Max Life Insurance, in July of 2018.

    She joined as head-HR, bancassurance, diversity and inclusion. Three years into this role, she was promoted to head HR-bancassurance, e-commerce, group business, partnership distribution. Her stint with Max Life lasted four years.

    August of 2022 saw her taking up the role of national head HR and lead DEI, Yes Bank. For over two years, she successfully drove change management and leadership development, resulting in a significant impact on business performance.

    From December 2024 to April 2025 she served as independent director and board member, Instassure Insurance Solutions.

    A postgraduate in Economics from Northwest University, Tulanahinaa Maity holds an MBA from University of Leeds.

    In her new role at Anand Rathi Group, the financial services firm, her expertise in HR strategy formulation, digital transformation, talent acquisition, leadership development and compliance management, complemented by strong communication and conflict-resolution abilities will stand her in good stead.
