    Wingreens World appoints Sangeeta Mukherjee as group head-HR

    Wingreens World has named Sangeeta Mukherjee as its new group head – human resources. This is part of the company’s attempt to strengthen the company’s leadership bench as it expands in India’s dynamic consumer market.

    In her new role, Mukherjee will work closely with business leaders to build future-ready teams and foster a culture that empowers employees, aligning with Wingreens World’s broader vision for growth.

    Mukherjee, an MBA in HR and Marketing from Visva-Bharati University, brings nearly two decades of cross-industry experience across consumer products, financial services, ITES, steel and consulting. She has a proven track record of shaping HR strategies that drive growth, inclusivity and innovation.

    Before joining Wingreens World, Mukherjee served as head–HRBP and operations, Carrier Midea India. In this role, Mukherjee was instrumental in stabilising business functions, building a performance-driven culture, and strengthening employee development across multiple sites, including manufacturing units.

    Her career also includes leadership roles at DS Group, Genpact, Indiabulls, SVCL and Underwriters Laboratories, where she managed diverse and multi-location workforce ecosystems.

    Over the years, she has led large-scale HR operations across India and Southeast Asia. Her expertise spans across areas such as talent management, organisational development, performance systems, employee engagement and change management. She has also been credited with implementing award-winning HR practices that align workforce strategies with business goals.

    The appointment highlights Wingreens World’s commitment to its people-first approach, ensuring an engaged and agile workforce as it accelerates its growth and innovation journey.
