Western Railway recruitment drive for over 3000 posts

Western Railway is gearing up to fill about 3,553 vacancies through a recruitment drive that has already commenced. Interested candidates, who are at least 15 years old and not more than 24 years of age, may apply for the post of apprentice on the official website of the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), till 6 February, 2020.

The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of merit, for which Railways will take into consideration the average class 10 and ITI exam scores, giving equal weightage to both. The document verification process will be completed by 28 February. The selected candidates will commence a year-long training on 1 April, 2020.

The applicants should have passed class 10 or 12 with at least 50 per cent marks and also have received an ITI certificate from an institute affiliated to NCVT or SCVT.
The salary of the selected candidates will be in the range of Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900. While those in Level 2 will get salary between Rs 19,900 and Rs 63,200, those in Level 1 will earn between Rs 18,000 and Rs 56,900.

The application fees for general category candidates will be Rs 100/-, while those belonging to the SC/ST/PWD/Women categories will not be required to pay any fee.
Railway Recruitment Cell, Western Railway (RRCWR) will act as the nodal agency responsible for receiving ONLINE applications from interested candidates.
