    A Reddit post has triggered a wider conversation about toxic workplace culture in India. The post, shared by an unverified user, described an employee’s decision to resign after being subjected to repeated taunts from a manager.

    According to the account, the resignation came as a direct response to a dismissive remark, which the employee said was the tipping point. “My manager used to taunt me almost daily: ‘Tumhare jaise log replace karna mushkil nahi.’ Next morning, I placed my resignation letter on his desk and said: ‘Best of luck, ek mahine mein replacement dhoondh lo,’” the user wrote. According to the post, HR reached out within hours with a counteroffer. “That was the moment I realised — sometimes the real power is just walking away,” the Redditor added.
