Indian ethnic wear brand SHR Lifestyles has rolled out a round-the-clock employee- support helpline, Shree-Saathi, aimed at providing timely and confidential assistance to its retail workforce. The initiative was unveiled to coincide with Retail Employees’ Day, observed globally on 12 December, a day dedicated to recognising the contribution of retail professionals who keep the sector running every day.

The newly-launched helpline has been designed as a single, dependable point of contact for employees seeking guidance or support on a wide range of workplace-related concerns. These include issues linked to working conditions, health and safety, compliance matters, interpersonal conflicts, and even career-related guidance. By offering continuous access, the company aims to ensure that employees are never left without support, regardless of the nature or urgency of the issue.

Shree-Saathi is positioned as a confidential and employee-first platform, reinforcing SHR Lifestyles’ focus on creating a supportive and inclusive work environment. Retail employees, who often operate on the front lines of customer interaction, face unique pressures related to long hours, performance expectations and customer-facing responsibilities. The helpline seeks to address these realities by offering reassurance, clarity and assistance whenever needed.

The service is now fully operational and available across the brand’s retail network, covering employees at stores and other retail touchpoints. The move reflects the organisation’s broader emphasis on employee well-being and engagement, particularly within the retail ecosystem where access to structured support systems is often limited.

By launching Shree-Saathi, SHR Lifestyles has underscored the importance of listening to employees and responding proactively to their concerns. The initiative signals a step towards strengthening trust, improving workplace experiences and ensuring that retail staff feel valued, supported and empowered as an integral part of the company’s growth journey.
