Supriya Wig has been appointed by Mizuho Global Services (MGS) as vice president-human resources (VP-HR).
Marking another milestone in her stellar career, the new appointment at the financial services company commences in May 2026. This role will Wig leading strategic HR initiatives, workforce planning, talent alignment, leadership development, employee engagement, and organisational growth amid MGS’s expansion in India.
With nearly two decades of HR leadership across consulting, banking, financial services, and technology, Wig excels in talent management, culture transformation, organisational development, M&A integration, diversity & inclusion, and people-centric practices in fast-evolving environments.
Most recently, she was talent business advisor at Deloitte (2023–2026), aligning HR strategies with business goals, strengthening performance frameworks, and enhancing employee experience.
For over a decade at NCR Corporation (2012–2022), she served as senior manager HR and culture & experience lead, overseeing talent strategy for more than 1,200 employees across APJ. She drove leadership development, engagement programmes, cultural transformation, D&I efforts, learning programmes, and compliance.
Earlier, she was an HR executive at Beltone (2010–2012) and ENKAY Homes (2010), focussing on recruitment, employee welfare, performance management, and statutory compliance. Her career started at Citi as a presentation specialist.
Wig holds an MMS. in Management (Human Resource) from Oriental Institute of Management, Navi Mumbai.
Established in 2020, MGS is Mizuho Financial Group’s Indian captive unit. It provides global back-office, trade operations, middle/back-office processing, and IT support.
Given Supriya Wig’s ability to build agile, high-performing teams that support business transformation, she will no doubt be an asset to MGS.
