Held over a month, the tournament featured over 250 cricket matches, making it one of the company’s largest internal engagement programmes. Employees from functions including sales, customer experience, relationship management, inspections, operations, technology and business teams participated in the event.
The tournament was organised across Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Indore, Lucknow, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Coimbatore and Kochi. The initiative was aimed at strengthening cross-functional collaboration by enabling employees from different locations and teams to interact outside their regular work environment.
Commenting on the initiative, Shweta Singh, senior vice president, Spinny, said, “Spinny Premier League brings together colleagues across cities, functions and teams, creating opportunities to build relationships beyond day-to-day work. The tournament celebrates the energy, teamwork and culture that define who we are as an organisation. Our people are our greatest strength, and SPL is one of the many ways we celebrate them. Together, we go far.”
The company said employee engagement remains central to its people strategy. Through initiatives such as SPL, Spinny aims to create opportunities for employees across geographies to connect, strengthen workplace relationships and reinforce a culture of collaboration and belonging as the organisation continues to expand.
