    Airtel elevates Vamsi Dasetty to SVP-HR, network and people analytics

    Vamsi Dasetty has been elevated to the role of SVP-HR, network and people analytics at Airtel. In this new role, he will head HR for the company’s network functions, along with people analytics charter. Prior to this, Dasetty was serving as the company’s SVP-head, total rewards and HR analytics.

    Dasetty joined Airtel in the year 2020 as its VP-head total rewards and HR analytics. He was responsible for setting up and driving a transformative total rewards and people analytics charter for Airtel.

    With a career spanning over 18 years, Dasetty has worked across many sectors such as telecom, oil & gas and management consulting.

    Prior to Airtel, Dasetty was associated with Ola (ANI Technologies) as its group head-performance and rewards.

    He joined the company in the year 2018 as its total rewards manager. In this role, he managed the Group’s portfolio of total rewards (cash, benefits, long-term and short-term incentives) for ANI Technologies and subsidiary companies across India and international locations (US, UK, ANZ markets).

    His expertise lies in managing rewards, business partnering, OD and change management with strong linkage to business outcomes and delivery. He’s also proficient in analytical and problem-solving skills in people-related initiatives, assessing organisational health through surveys, designing HR interventions in driving engagement, building and developing talent, and mentoring frameworks, handling employee life-cycle management.

    Furthermore, he has worked with many other renowned names such as Vodafone, Cairn India, Mckinsey and Hewitt Associates.

    An alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, Dasetty has completed BE in Electrical & Electronics from GITAM Deemed University.
