JLL New Zealand has appointed Ashley Bray as its new director-human resources. In this role, effective 16 Sept. 2024, Bray will assume responsibility for overseeing the company’s HR functions, with a clear focus on advancing its people-centric initiatives.

One of Bray’s key priorities will be to ensure that the company’s people strategies are aligned with its broader business goals, fostering an inclusive and equitable work environment where employees can thrive and contribute to the firm’s success.

Bray brings a wealth of experience in human resources, talent management and organisational development to the role as the company plans to strengthen its presence in New Zealand’s real-estate sector.

Bray joins JLL with an impressive track record, having previously worked at Colliers NZ. She joined the company in 2018 as its people and performance associate. During her tenure, she played a crucial role in driving key human resources initiatives. She was instrumental in shaping comprehensive people services, which encompassed vital aspects of HR such as recruitment, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, remuneration and inclusion programmes.

Bray started her career in the year 2008 with Telstra, as a technical trainer. After three years, she then moved to Virgin Australia, in the year 2010 as a flight attendant.

Bray’s appointment comes as part of JLL’s ongoing efforts to lead from the front in people and client experience. Her role will be central to driving forward these values, ensuring that JLL continues to be a leader in the market while maintaining its position as an employer of choice in New Zealand.
